  8.              UPGRADING THE BRAVO-II 486/XX BIOS TO VERSION 1.22

  11. PROBLEM:       When upgrading the system BIOS to version 1.22, the auto drive
  12.                type is not saved.
  13.  
  14. CAUSE:         Version 1.22 does not have an option to enable or disable the
  15.                shadow BIOS area.  This area is where the auto drive type (97)
  16.                is stored.
  17.  
  18. SYSTEMS
  19. AFFECTED:      All Bravo-II 486/XX
  20.  
  21. SOLUTION:      Before upgrading the BIOS, enable the shadow BIOS region, so
  22.                the auto option is supported.
